The everyday shaman is a training and healing organisation that promotes the practice of the urban or modern shaman. Most people live in towns and cities and don’t live in the traditional isolated locations associated with shamanic practices.
This training uses native plants and herbs found in your own back gardens, your home, or the local park. It focuses on how to practice within your own home and in a way that will fit into your own life and your own personality.
The everyday shaman organisation can meet all your training needs as it has the full range of shamanic courses from absolute beginner right through to advanced courses for experienced and practicing shamans.

So, what is Shamanism? It is after all, one of the fastest growing beliefs for spiritual and personal development in the UK. (According to economist.com)
Its popularity is mainly driven by its power to reconnect you with yourself, others, spirit, and the natural world.
Shamans believe that the visible and invisible world co-exist in perfect harmony. Using shamanic tools and techniques we all have access to the hidden treasures in the invisible world and we can use those wisdoms to bring healing to the self, others, stuck spiritual energy or the natural world around us.
This is done using the medicine wheel, extraction medicine, the medicine bag and ancient ceremonial techniques amongst many, many other things.
Becoming a shaman is a special and enlightening journey that helps you to find your true self. It is a journey of discovery and deep inner cleansing. As you learn to work with your shadow self, you will slowly set yourself free from the hidden shackles of your mind and body.
And this is all done in the presence of your own personal spiritual guides who want nothing more than for you to succeed and find that inner peace.
I can’t promise a smooth ride, but it will be one that is rewarding, enlightening and freeing.
Hi, I never know where to start with these things! Its like being asked the question ‘who are you?’ - it kind of blind sides you for a moment.
So, I guess I will start with the most relevant which is my working experience. I’ve been practicing and teaching shamanism for 8 years but have been teaching and practicing Reiki for 16 years. I am also an accredited psychotherapist/counsellor practicing for 13 years. This is very relevant as so much of the shamanic training includes self-development and negotiations with various parts of self or with spirit themselves, - so having extensive experience in this area really comes in handy! To add to this, I am also a trained learning disabilities nurse – the connection may not seem obvious, but LD nurses are trained in behavioural modification and are all about empowering and skilling people so that they can lead their best lives, which is what shamans aim for too.
I lead a pretty normal life, I love my allotment and that first mouthful of tea in the morning always makes me smile. However, part of the ordinary for me is working shamanically. Finding shamanism helped me make sense of the things I have seen since a child that no one else seemed able to explain. Such as the red lady that walked through my walls when I was 4. Or the cat that jumped on me at a park but then vanished, and it turned out, it had never been there. Learning shamanism helped strengthen my connection to both the spiritual and natural world which in turn helped me to fill my own skin, by that I mean, be who I am – warts and all.
I have had so many confirmations from spirit of its existence, and its connection to each and every one of us that there is too much to write here. But if you want to ask me things or get to know me better before deciding then please just get in touch. Equally if you just want to share your own story about your spiritual encounter please do, I love to hear from you all.
You can book yourself an individual 1-1 shamanic healing by using the contact form or texting or emailing me. Healings are beautiful and powerful. Healings are usually around a specific problem and include an assessment. Healings are hugely varied depending on the need but can include extraction medicine, curse removal, drum healings, past life healing, soul retrievals and much more.
The healings last between 45 mins – 90 mins in length and are charged at £75. Please be aware that although the meeting time
will be between 45 and 90mins there is usually hours of prep and/or after care that goes into a shamanic healing.
For best results please follow any instructions given carefully and completely.
All classes are done face to face in small groups of between 2 and 6 people. The groups are small so that you can ensure you get good quality, personal teaching, and guidance.
Please visit my 'Shamanic Path' page for full details on the courses available.
I am based in Retford Nottinghamshire which is easily accessible from areas such as Sheffield, Newark, Doncaster, Lincoln Edwinstowe, Ollerton and Gainsborough.
