The Shamanic Path
The path to becoming a shamanic practitioner
All classes are done face to face in small groups of between 2 and 6 people. The groups are small so that you can ensure you get good quality, personal teaching, and guidance.
Location – Retford (easily accessible from Sheffield, Newark, Doncaster, Lincoln Edwinstowe, Ollerton and Gainsborough).
The courses are offered in levels. To become a shaman, you must complete all training on all 4 levels, plus beginner/gateway. (This does not include the advanced shaman at level 5).
Please ask for start dates as these vary throughout the year and wherever possible, I will accommodate people’s needs.
Gateway/beginner
The path to becoming a shamanic practitioner
This starts at various times of the year, so please ask for the latest start dates. This course is half a day and starts at either 9am - 12pm or 1pm - 4pm. It runs weekly for 5 weeks. There is both weekend and week day availability.
You will be introduced to drumming, journeying, how to connect with spiritual allies, connecting with nature and the medicine wheel. We will also do fire and earth ceremonies and introduce the beginnings of plant spirit medicine and much more!
Costs - £70 per session – total £350
All the following courses are a day unless otherwise stated.
The cost is £150 for each course. You must complete all courses at each level before moving onto the next level. If you want to be a practitioner, you must complete every course at every level. (Advanced practitioner is optional).
Level 1
Plant spirit Medicine
Learn how to connect and use plant spirit medicine to help with healings and journeyings. Earth ceremony to connect you to your own plant spirit ally.
Medicine wheel, sabbats and moon cycles.
Learn all about how the rhythm of the earth and how it can help or hinder healings and manifestations. Learn the ancient techniques of the medicine wheel and its fundamental use in shamanic practices.
Working with shadow our inner Judge and victim.
Shadow work is an incredibly deep and powerful healing process that helps us look at our own unconscious patterns and shines a spotlight on our own inner dialogue. Begin to free yourself from your internal judge and empower your inner victim as you begin this necessary and powerful healing process.
The medicine bag, soul retrieval and working with the spiritual tribes.
The medicine bag is a crucial part of psychopomp for the living or the spirit realm. Each item in the medicine bag holds a connection to earth and spirit. Learn how to build your own medicine bag and how it assists in healings and ceremonies. You will also journey to meet specific spiritual tribal allies and release and empower yourself with deeply powerful soul retrieval work.
Level 2
Past lives, reincarnation tunnels and deeper soul retrievals.
Past lives can be holding us in stuck patterns without us realising. On this course you will learn how to clear your own and others past lives in a safe way that brings healing to the present and to the past stuck energy. Also, you will learn about shapeshifting, the 4-chamber soul retrieval technique and how to repair damaged reincarnation tunnels.
An introduction into extraction medicine
This course introduces you to the different types of negative or stuck energy that can attach itself to our auras. Learn the beginnings of how to remove these troublesome energy pockets in a safe and healing way for all involved.
You will get chance to practice using your own medicine bag. This workshop also looks at the importance of sound and how this can be used in a very powerful way to clear negative energies and promote healing.
Portals and psychopomp.
This workshop involves some outside work on the land as you learn how to clear the land of anything that needs or wants releasing. Learn how to connect with the various energies. Learn how to connect with the land guardians and enlist their help.
Rituals and ceremonies - part 1
This is a crucial part of the shamanic tradition and healings. Learn how to conduct a ceremony or ritual in a healing capacity. Fire and earth.
Rituals and ceremonies - part 2
Learn how to conduct a ceremony for manifestation, growth, insight. You will complete a despacho ceremony. Water and air.
Health and sickness spirits and working with DNA.
Learn how to connect and work with the sickness spirits, do body mapping, and see DNA structures and their impact. Learn how to clear blockages in the aura and the body using shamanic techniques. Learn to negotiate with sickness spirits with compassion.
Level 3
Extraction medicine part 1
Learn and conduct extraction medicine on people and on the land. (This is a more advanced course than in level 2). Learn how to negotiate with difficult energies with confidence. This course has outside and inside work. We will also look at soul theft.
Death process and karmic clearance.
This is a powerful personal healing process that encourages transformation and sets you free from karmic bounds.
Energetic filtration system and extraction medicine part 2
This is one of the ultimate ways to protect yourself. We look at how to use your own aura to protect and digest. We will also look at a chakra strengthening process. And running a circle yourself.
Level 4
(once these 2 courses and the case studies are complete you will receive your shamanic practitioner certificate)
Assessment of healing and psychopomp plus case studies x 5. A half day to meet, discuss, go through how to conduct and write up the 5 case studies. These case studies will be marked and feedback given. Once all 5 case studies are complete you can then go to the naming ceremony.
Receive your shamanic name under ceremony (half a day)
This is a lovely day where you will receive your shamanic name under ceremony. It’s a real moment of celebration on all that you have achieved.
Level 5
Advanced shamanic practitioner
Advanced shamanic practices – only available to those who have been practicing for a minimum of 6 months.
Breaking curses and dealing with psychic attacks
This is an intense day course that teaches you everything to do with removing curses and dealing with psychic attacks or evil eye attacks. You will also learn how to retrieve lost soul pieces from dark places.
House clearances
This can only be done when a house is needing to be cleared. It is an on-the-job training where you will accompany me as we conduct a house clearance together.
